A different perspective

The conversation moves forward. The record holds.

An investment memo gives a discussion a common reference. The version you circulated should remain the version people can return to.

Freeze a memo to keep a fixed report. Share it through an expiring link or download it as Markdown or PDF. Later changes to the company's deck leave that frozen version intact.

The question / 01

This is the case as it stood.

Freeze the memo when it is ready to serve as a report. That version stays unchanged, with the evidence behind its citations kept.

A little more context

Good questions.

Read the guides
Can a frozen memo change?

No. A frozen version stays fixed. It becomes a report you can share and download, and a later deck version does not rewrite it.

How do sharing links work?

A frozen memo can be shared with a link that expires in seven days. Creating a new link replaces the old one.

Which download formats are available?

A frozen memo can be downloaded as Markdown or PDF. Re-opening, exporting or sharing a memo you already have costs no research credits.
