Brevoir helps you research companies, check the evidence and preserve the reasoning behind a decision. Start with the question you need to answer, then use the result to shape your next one.

- Fund research ↗
- Research a firm’s stated focus and the companies it lists on its portfolio page.
- Decisions over time ↗
- Keep a decision with its reason and evidence. Set conditions that would make it worth another look.
Where it works best
Research can go further when a business publishes enough information to describe its work. A clear company website and accessible professional information provide a useful starting point.
Results vary by company, region and sector. Very early companies may have little published information. Review the cited material before acting on an important claim.
A missing figure does not mean zero. A short brief does not mean a company lacks a team, traction or an opportunity.
If a company brief finds almost no public information, its research credit is returned.
Know the boundaries
Brevoir is not a complete catalogue of every private company and does not promise access to confidential financial information.
- Financial details
- Revenue, valuations, ownership and cap tables may not be publicly available.
- People and financing
- Exact headcount and the full investor list for a round may be incomplete. A company’s own statement is identified as its own.
- Restricted information
- Research does not bypass logins or paywalls.
- A changing business
- Products, teams and financing can change before research catches up. Check the date and context of evidence that matters to your decision.
Professional context
People appear in the context of their professional work: their role, company and relevant background. Research on a person runs when requested and stays in the requesting workspace.
Brevoir does not collect personal email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses. It is not for exploring someone’s private life or making employment, credit, insurance or housing decisions.
People who appear in research can request access, correction or removal. Read the privacy information for people in research.
Bring your judgment
Research should help you ask better questions and form your own view. Brevoir can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Review important conclusions and the evidence behind them.
Brevoir provides research, not investment, legal or tax advice. You make the decision.
